Yesterday was the day again: Klaus Völkel from the Sessenbach Observatory visited St. Ursula School in Geisenheim for the tenth time with his mobile planetarium.
All students in grades 5 and 6 had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Völkel’s explanations in his dome tent. Impressive projections inside the dome illustrated the starry sky, the constellations, the movements of the sun, moon, and planets, and many other exciting space topics.
The visit was financed by the Friends of St. Ursula School Association (represented on site by Viktoria Stieffenhofer and Julia Bäumler) and a grant from Moog GAT (pictured: Managing Director Emil Bayer), so that the event could take place without any additional cost to the participants.
