Moog GAT ROTODISK S rotary unions are used wherever media such as emulsion, oil, air and oil-air mixtures need to be reliably transferred to a rotating system.
Pressures of up to 200 bar and speeds of up to 100,000 rpm are possible.
Moog GAT ROTODISK S uses hydrostatically balanced, extremely wear-resistant silicon carbide mechanical seals to ensure a low frictional torque and therefore minimal wear.
The standard version (STD) impresses with its robust coolant transfer at high pressures and minimal leakage impact when changing tools.
Our version with closed sliding disc (GGL) is ideal for low pressures and is characterized by leakage-free air transmission and tool changes without leakage impact.
The AKM version is suitable for all media and combines all the advantages of the STD and GGL versions.
