Moog ROTOKOMBI – the combined solution for wind power applications
The combination of the contactless, capacitive ROTOCAP technology and the ROTOSTAT E rotary union with gap seal offers numerous advantages in terms of durability, reliability, maintenance-free operation and long service ife.
The combination is complemented by the contacting slip ring of the ROTOFLUX ESR series with gold/gold technology. The slip ring is designed so that it can be replaced quickly and easily as a stand-alone module. The interface between the maintenance-free module and the contacting slip ring is standardized via a synchronous flange. Maintenance of the slip ring is therefore not necessary. This significantly reduces the amount of servicing required on the system. Plug-and-play!
The low wear and long service life of the individual components of our units are an advantage for onshore and offshore wind turbines with hydraulic pitch control, as these are exposed to the harshest environmental conditions. The elimination of costly maintenance and the ability to operate in the most demanding conditions characterize our solution.
